27th October

More Singing Workshops will run this Saturday 1st November at The Old Mill Centre, Skeeby, continuing the programme of creative activities led by experienced musical director Barbara Sutcliffe-Cole

The sessions will run from: 10am – 12.15pm for women and 1.30-3.15pm for children aged 7-14.  They are open to anyone who loves to sing, regardless of ability.

Covering a range of popular music genres, the workshops are designed to enthuse and inspire people about singing, music-making – and life.

“Thank you for the wonderful workshop yesterday.  It’s always up-lifting to have a good sing and I loved the songs you chose!” commented Julia Young after the sessions for women in the spring.

“Just come along and try it out.  If you enjoy it you may like to come again sometime!”  says DBS checked Workshop Leader and Centre Director Barbara.

Parents will also be invited to see what the children have been doing on the same day at 3.15pm. The women’s group will have the opportunity to present their songs at the Old Mill’s informal, no obligation Showcase Entre Nous, also on 1st November, at 4.15pm.

The sessions cost £5 and include drinks and biscuits. To book a place or for more information contact barbara@oldmillcentre.co.uk or by phone on: 01625 523397.
