4th October

Creative, arty people are invited to our Expressive Retreat on 31st March - 2nd April, 2017.  The Old Mill Centre in Richmond, North Yorkshire will open its doors for you to explore, play and have some creative fun.

Stimulated by a theme of Dawn | Sunrise | Awakening, you’ll have the chance to experiment with song, rhythm, sound, movement, colour, fabric, wool, paint and nature itself.  Exploration will be inspired by the bible but participants of all faiths or none are welcome.

Some residential accommodation is provided at The Old Mill Centre.  Otherwise, local B&Bs are a plenty!

Led by creative specialists Barbara Sutcliffe-Cole, Karen Herrick, Jackie Thackray, Bryony Harris and Ruth Hawkes, activities on offer are:  singing, African drumming, expressive movement, instrumental soundscape creations, felt-making, prayer weaving, reflective stitching, creative journaling and big art.  Sessions are designed for full group expression and individual creative time.

Our team strongly believes in the life-restoring benefits of the creative journey.  So, even if you think you’re lacking musical or artistic skills, it really is not a problem.

As a bonus, the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside can be explored in free time.  Space to withdraw for personal reflection will also be provided.

Including food, prices are: Residential £180, Non-residential £90.  Booking by 10th March 2017 is essential.  A deposit of £35 will secure a place on the retreat.

To book your place or for more information, please contact Barbara Sutcliffe-Cole at hello@oldmillcentre.co.uk or on 01625 523 397.
