As promised, new exciting workshops are being introduced into The Old Mill Centre’s programme.  Coming soon are two practical and experiential Alexander Technique days, skilfully led by fully qualified & experienced teacher Hilary Cook MSTAT. 

An Introductory Alexander Technique session on 18th October, 10.30am-2.30pm will help you to improve your posture, de-stress, ease back ache as well as to move with less effort and tension. The workshop will be related to everyday activities but will also be invaluable to anyone interested in the following Performing Arts workshop, to learn the basics.

At an Introductory Alexander Technique and Performing Arts day on the 15th November, 10.30am-2.30pm Hilary will offer advice on how to improve posture and how to use the voice & play instruments with less effort and tension.

Each workshop, to be held at The Old Mill Centre Skeeby, Richmond DL10 5EB, costs £30

Please bring with you lunch, a mat, a few thin paperback books and wear loose fitting clothing, preferably trousers. Tea and coffee are provided.

Hilary Cook is a fully qualified, insured and experienced Alexander Technique Teacher having completed 3 year’s full time training in 2000. She is a professional teaching member of The Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (STAT).
