Ladies and children – come and ‘taste’ the singing workshops we are running this Sunday, 3rd November, at The Old Mill Centre in Skeeby, Richmond.

The session for children aged 7-14 will run at 2-3.45pm.  Ladies are invited at 4.15-6pm.

The workshops are open to anyone who loves to sing, regardless of ability.  They are designed to enthuse and inspire people about singing, music-making – and life.

“These courses are all about enabling people to have fun singing in a positive, friendly environment,” says Workshop Leader and Centre Director Barbara Sutcliffe-Cole.  “There is no pressure, no need to book, just come along and try it out!”

The taster sessions cost £5 and include drinks and biscuits. For more information contact barbara@oldmillcentre.co.uk

Follow up workshops will be held on Saturday 9th November: 10am-12.15pm for ladies; 2-3.45pm for children aged 7-14.  Come along to one or both of the days, the choice is yours!

All participants will be invited to take part in an informal, no obligation Showcase at the forth-coming Open Day at the Centre on Saturday 16th November.

The Old Mill Centre, opened in 2012 by William Hague, is rapidly becoming a thriving residential, retreat, holiday and performing/creative arts centre.  The singing workshops are part of a dedicated programme of courses, workshops and events currently being designed and piloted to give both holiday makers and local people truly inspirational experiences at the beautifully restored 400 year old stone mill.
