More Singing Workshops will run this Saturday 27th September, 10am – 12.15pm for women and 1.30-3.15pm for children aged 7-14 at The Old Mill Centre, Richmond.  They are open to anyone who loves to sing, regardless of ability.

Covering a range of popular music genres, the workshops are designed to enthuse and inspire people about singing, music-making – and life.  They will be led by the centre’s owner, experienced musical director Barbara Sutcliffe-Cole.

Ladies, please being with you an umbrella with a long handle or a walking stick – if you have one!  Even better, if you happen to have a top hat, bring that too!  If you don’t have either, just come along anyway.

The sessions cost £5 and include drinks and biscuits. To book a place or for more information contact barbara@oldmillcentre.co.uk, visit the centre’s website: www.oldmillcentre.co.uk/contact  or phone: 01625 523397.

There will be another day of workshops on 1st November, 10am – 12.15pm for ladies and 1.30-3.15pm for children aged 7-14.  Parents will also be invited to see what the children have been doing on the same day at 3.15pm. The ladies’ group will have the opportunity to present their songs at the Old Mill’s next informal, no obligation Showcase Entre Nous, also on 1st November, 4.15pm.
