By special invitation from the International Felt-makers Association, Robbin Firth from HeartFelt Silks is embarking on a month-long teaching tour around the UK.  Included in her very first visit this side of the ocean is an inspiring, not to be missed 2 day workshop that she will run at the wonderful Old Mill Centre in Richmond, North Yorkshire.

Very experienced as a Fibre Artist and a prolific felt-maker, Robbin uses a tool called the Palm Washboard, which her wood artist husband Harry has developed.  This reduces the need for rolling, making the process of felting less labour intensive.

By popular demand, Robbin will be teaching felting experienced participants how to felt a loose lock shawl on Thursday 18th - Friday 19th June 2015.  This is a residential course, with a one night stay at the Old Mill Centre, Skeeby, Richmond.  Only 4 places remain!  Staying a further night is also an enticing option.  All meals will be provided.
